Location: Dhulagarh
Industry: Electrical / Any Manufacturing Industry
Experience: 14+ years overall, with minimum 4-5 years as HR Head
Qualification: MBA in Human Resources
Team Handling: Mandatory


Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HR Head to lead the Human Resources function for our manufacturing unit in Dhulagarh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end HR operations including talent acquisition, statutory compliance, payroll, industrial relations, and effective team management. Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Lead recruitment for all levels of the organization.

  • Collaborate with department heads to forecast manpower needs.

  • Optimize onboarding processes for permanent and contractual employees.

2. Contract Labour & Compliance Management

  • Manage contractor engagement and onboarding formalities.

  • Conduct monthly audits and generate compliance reports.

  • Maintain statutory registers and submit returns on time

3. Payroll & Attendance Management

  • Ensure accurate payroll processing for permanent employees.

  • Manage SAP-based leave, attendance, and shift scheduling systems.

  • Oversee full & final settlements and exit formalities.

4. HR Operations & Systems

  • Maintain employee data and lifecycle activities in ERP.

  • Drive performance management and appraisal cycles.

  • Regularly update employee files and HR MIS reports.

5. Government Liaisoning & Statutory Compliance

  • Liaise with Factory Inspector, Labour Office, PF/ESIC departments, and Employment Exchange.

  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, Factories Act, Bonus Act, and other applicable statutes.

  • Represent the organization during labour inspections and audits.

6. Industrial Relations & Union Handling

  • Handle wage and bonus negotiations with unions.

  • Build and sustain healthy industrial relations.

  • Resolve employee grievances effectively and fairly.


Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Proven leadership in managing HR for a manufacturing setup.

  • Deep knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance.

  • Experience in HRMS tools like SAP and Lighthouse ERP.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and team management skills.

  • Ability to interact with external stakeholders and government bodies.

  • Effective in handling union matters with a balanced approach.


Remuneration: As per industry standards and candidate experience
