Job Description:

A. Agreements:
1. Review/vetting of agreements, memorandum of understanding, letter of intents,
term sheet, license agreement for IPR etc.
2. Preparing documentation to record commercial deals with telecom service
providers.
3. Preparing standard agreements for broadband business.
4. Providing support to Business Teams in formulating the documentation
depending upon the commercial negotiations.
5. To send agreements for online execution and monitor the progress.
6. Maintain/update the list of agreements and MIS of agreements executed
through physical mode and online mode.

B. Litigation:
1. To collate inputs from concerned teams, review and advise on available legal
recourse.
2. To coordinate with Advocate(s) for sending notice(s) and initiation of
proceedings.
3. To collate inputs from concerned teams for defending litigation against the
Company and/or notices received by the Company.
4. To monitor and take necessary steps in pending litigation(s).
5. To prepare reply to notices, preparation of petitions, replies and courter replies,
evidence etc.
6. To appear before the Courts/Tribunals/Medatiors/Arbitrators.
7. To maintain/update Legal MIS and/or Notices.
8. Filing & tracking status of application filed for trademark registration and
reviewing objections filed by third parties and preparing replies.

C. DoT:
1. Well versed with online portals such as SARAL, OCBMS, MBSS Audit, ISRP,
Security & Technical Audit.
2. Interaction with DoT officials and providing details/clarifications to DoT officials
based on available inputs.
3. Advise internal teams on terms of license, guidelines/instructions/directions
issued by DoT or other Government Authorities.

4. Submit online applications for licenses/authorizations & monitor the progress.
5. Oversee the activity of providing IPDR and blocking of website(s) as per
DoT/Court/Government Authority’s orders.
6. Interacting with LEAs for providing KYC details/certificates and statement before
LEAs.

D. Submission of Reports to DoT and TRAI:
1. Monthly subscriber report to DoT and TRAI
2. Monthly data usage report to DoT and TRAI
3. Quarterly PMR to TRAI
4. Quarterly PMR (Annexure – II) to TRAI
5. Half-yearly return to DoT for trusted telecom sources
6. Co-ordination with teams for preparing above reports and uploading the same in
respective portal(s)

E. License Fee/AGR & Bank Guarantees:
1. To collate inputs from Finance Team, process payment through SARAS Portal,
prepare quarterly returns & file the same w.r.t. respective authorization in
SARAS Portal
2. To collate inputs from Finance Team, get annual returns signed from Auditors
and upload the same w.r.t. respective authorization in SARAS Portal
3. To collate inputs and prepare representations/replies against demand notice(s)
and challenge the same before TDSAT, if required.
4. To submit the bank guarantee(s) to CCA office within stipulated time
5. Maintain Bank Guarantee tracker
F. MIB:
1. Submit online application for renewal/change in Broadcast Seva Portal w.r.t.
channels
2. Payment of annual renewal fees through Broadcast Seva Portal.
G. General:
1. Preparing updates w.r.t. AGR/License Fee & DoT’s communications for Board of
Directors meeting

2. Processing of invoices of Advocates/Counsels and vendors related to legal
function and maintenance of payment tracker.
3. Advice Business/Other teams on the issues highlighted to Legal Team.
