Legal
Agreements
To prepare and/or vet agreements required for different business verticals i.e. Strategic Alliance
Partner, One11, Franchisee, NDA, Tenders, share purchase & share holding agreement, leave &
license agreement, contracts related to assignment of rights w.r.t. feature films
Facilitate execution of agreements through physical mode and online mode
Maintaining the list and original agreements
Preparation of communications to be sent out to vendors/partners for breach of agreement
Litigation
Collating inputs and documents for initiating litigation, co-ordinate with Advocate(s) for
preparation of pleadings, review of pleadings and filing of case(s)
Review the case papers of cases filed against the company, seek inputs from respective teams,
prepare & file pleadings before respective Courts
Appear before Court(s) and participate in mediation/arbitration proceedings
Maintenance of MIS of legal cases
Collections
Collating inputs/documents for sending notices on behalf of OIL to defaulted customers
Co-ordinate with Advocate for sending notices to defaulted customers on Advocate’s
letterhead
Co-ordinate with internal team members for reverting to reply received from defaulted
customers
Maintenance of MIS of legal notices
IPR
Filing & tracking status of application filed for trademark registration
Reviewing objections filed by third parties and preparing replies
Assistance to Business Teams
Facilitate issuance of authority letters for tenders/agreement sign off
Telco Commercials
Preparing terms & conditions for commercials with Telcos based on final negotiations
General
Preparing updates w.r.t. AGR/License Fee & DoT’s communications for Board of Directors
meeting
Processing of invoices of Advocates/Counsels and vendors related to legal function and
maintenance of payment tracker
Regulatory
Submission of Reports
Monthly subscriber report to DoT and TRAI
Monthly data usage report to DoT and TRAI
Quarterly PMR to TRAI
Quarterly PMR (Annexure – II) to TRAI
Half-yearly return to DoT for trusted telecom sources
Co-ordination with teams for preparing above reports and uploading the same in respective
portal(s)
DoT
Preparing documentation for submitting online application to DoT for license(s)
Interaction with DoT officials and providing details/clarifications to DoT officials based on
available inputs
CCA
AGR Returns & Payment of License Fee
To collate inputs from Finance Team, process payment through SARAS Portal, prepare returns &
file the same in respective authorization in SARAS Portal
To collate inputs from Finance Team, get annual returns signed from Auditors and upload the
same in respective authorization in SARAS Portal
Bank Guarantee
To submit the bank guarantee(s) to CCA office in stipulated time
Maintain Bank Guarantee tracker
Demand Notice
Collate inputs for preparing OIL’s representation against demand notice(s), co-ordinate with
Advocate for finalizing of OIL’s representation and submission of OIL’s representation in SARAS
portal
Co-ordinate with Advocate/Counsel for preparation of petition to challenge the demand
notice(s)
Nodal
Monitoring activity of providing IPDR to LEAs. Co-ordinate with OIL’s team for challenges in
certain cases
Attend calls from LEAs and oversee resolution of the requirement
ISRP
Monitoring the activity of forwarding of reports to Technology Team and uploading action
taken report in ISRP Portal
Attend calls from DoT officials and oversee resolution of the requirement
OCBMS Portal/Blocking of URLs
Monitoring activity of blocking of ULRs in OCMBS Portal/Nubwell Portal and co-ordinate with
Technology team in case of challenges
Attend calls from DoT officials and oversee resolution of the requirement
MBSS Audit
Co-ordinate with Technology Team and facilitate MBSS Audit at circles where we have
operations
Attend calls from DoT officials and oversee resolution of the requirement
Technical Audit
Co-ordinate with Technology Team and facilitate Technical Audit at Mumbai
Security Audit
Co-ordinate with Technology Team and facilitate Security Audit at Mumbai
MIB
Submit online application for renewal/change in Broadcast Seva Portal w.r.t. Arirang Korea TV
Channel
Payment of annual renewal fees through Broadcast Seva Portal
