Week Off: 2nd Saturday and all Sundays

- Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead the Engineering Department: Manage, guide, and mentor engineers and technical staff across various disciplines (process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, etc.).
- Team Development: Focus on hiring, training, and developing a highly skilled team, ensuring continuous improvement and growth.
- Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively to meet production and project goals.
- Process Optimization and Innovation:
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in production processes, aiming for higher efficiency, quality, and reduced costs.
- Innovation: Drive the adoption of new technologies and innovations to improve production capacity, safety, and environmental sustainability.
- Troubleshooting: Lead efforts to resolve technical issues in production and operations.
- Project Management:
- Lead Engineering Projects: Oversee engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Design and Implementation: Supervise the design, installation, and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to engineering projects, such as delays, budget overruns, and safety hazards.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure Safety Standards: Oversee adherence to safety regulations and best practices in all engineering activities.
- Compliance with Regulations: Ensure that engineering operations comply with local, national, and international environmental and safety standards.
- Risk Assessments: Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify and address potential hazards in the plant.
- Budget and Cost Management:
- Budget Management: Develop, manage, and monitor budgets for engineering projects, equipment maintenance, and capital expenditures.
- Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost reduction in engineering operations while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Maintenance and Reliability:
- Maintenance Strategy: Develop and implement maintenance strategies for plant equipment to minimize downtime and optimize equipment lifespan.
- Reliability Engineering: Ensure that plant equipment is reliable, reducing unexpected failures and maintaining continuous production.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as production, quality control, procurement, and R&D to ensure alignment on projects and goals.
- External Relationships: Manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and external consultants for equipment, services, and engineering solutions.
- Continuous Improvement and Best Practices:
- Foster a Culture of Continuous Improvement: Encourage the use of methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen to continuously improve engineering operations.
- Benchmarking: Stay updated on industry trends and benchmarks to ensure that the engineering department follows industry best practices.

- Documentation and Reporting:
- Documentation: Ensure that all engineering processes, designs, and changes are properly documented and stored in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports to upper management on engineering performance, project status, and key metrics.
- Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Establish and track KPIs related to engineering efficiency, downtime, safety, and other operational metrics.
- Analyze Data: Use data analysis to assess plant performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
- Process Engineering
- Focuses on the design, optimization, and scaling of chemical processes.
- Develops process flow diagrams, heat and mass balances, and ensures safety in the production process.
- Mechanical Engineering
- Deals with the design, maintenance, and operation of mechanical equipment (pumps, valves, reactors, etc.).
- Ensures proper functioning of machinery and equipment in the plant.
- Electrical Engineering
- Involves the design and maintenance of electrical systems, including power distribution, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Ensures the plant has a reliable and efficient power supply and safe operation of electrical systems.
- Instrumentation and Control Engineering
- Focuses on the installation, maintenance, and calibration of instruments that monitor and control the chemical processes.
- Works with automation systems, PLCs (programmable logic controllers), SCADA systems, and other control technologies.
- Civil Engineering
- Responsible for the design and construction of plant structures such as buildings, foundations, and infrastructure.
- Ensures compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements for construction.
- Safety Engineering
- Ensures the design and operation of plant systems are safe and comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conducts risk assessments, process safety management, and emergency preparedness.
- Quality Engineering
- Focuses on maintaining quality standards in the engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Works on quality control (QC), quality assurance (QA), and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Reliability Engineering
- Aims to ensure the reliability and uptime of plant equipment and systems.

- Project Engineering
