WELDER SID FOR STEEL MANUFACTURING - RAIPUR , CHHATTISGARH

The Welder in the SID department is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components according to engineering specifications and safety standards. The role requires precision welding skills, adherence to quality standards, and collaboration with engineering and inspection teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, Stick, and Arc welding techniques.

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders accurately.

• Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and components.

• Conduct inspections to ensure weld quality and structural integrity.

• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.

• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with occupational safety standards.

• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and quality control teams to meet project requirements.

• Document work completed and report any defects or deviations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a welder in industrial, structural, or fabrication environments.

• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, Stick, and Arc welding.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

• Strong attention to detail and quality.

• Knowledge of safety procedures and standards in welding and fabrication.

• Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments.

Preferred:

• Welding certification (e.g., AWS Certified Welder).

• Experience with inspection and quality assurance processes.

• Familiarity with metal cutting, grinding, and finishing techniques.
