- Perform maintenance: Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on drilling rigs, equipment, and tools.
- Site preparation: Prepare the drilling site, which includes installing and securing equipment like drill rods and pumps.
- Collect samples: Obtain core samples for geological analysis or soil testing.
- Handle paperwork: Complete necessary safety paperwork and logs for crew members and equipment.
