The Process Shift Incharge is responsible for managing and supervising the plant's operational activities during their assigned shift. They ensure smooth running of the production process, adherence to quality and safety standards, and optimal utilization of resources.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise overall plant operations during the shift.

• Monitor and control production parameters to achieve targeted output and efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety norms.

• Manage manpower deployment, assign tasks, and oversee shift handovers.

• Handle control room / panel operations (DCS/SCADA if applicable).

• Monitor and maintain records of raw material usage, process parameters, and output.

• Coordinate with maintenance teams during equipment breakdowns or stoppages.

• Maintain shift log books, incident reports, and production records.

• Ensure proper housekeeping, safety, and discipline on the shop floor.

• Provide real-time updates to senior management on production status and challenges.

• Train and guide shift workers for better performance and safety adherence.

🎓 Qualification:

• B.Sc / B.A / 12th (Science preferred) with relevant industry experience

• Experience in steel, sponge iron, cement, chemical, or power plant operations preferred.
