We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Engineer to join our client's high-performing software development team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, reliable, and business-critical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality Java-based applications.
• Work closely with architects, business analysts, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Implement best practices for coding standards, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve production incidents.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews, and mentorship of junior developers.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and integrate them into development processes where beneficial.

Must-Haves

• 10+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong expertise in Java 8+, Spring / Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle).
• Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle).
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Front-end development experience with React, Angular, or Vue.
