IC Analyst

Job Description:

•   Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain Ion Chromatography instruments (e.g., Metrohm, Dionex, Thermo Scientific).
  • Prepare and analyze samples for cations and anions in various matrices (e.g., water, pharmaceuticals, food).
  • Develop, validate, and optimize IC methods in accordance with internal SOPs and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform system suitability testing, calibration, and routine maintenance of IC equipment.
  • Troubleshoot instrumentation and method-related issues to ensure consistent data quality.
  • Document all work clearly and accurately in laboratory notebooks, logbooks, and LIMS.
  • Interpret, report, and review results for accuracy, precision, and compliance.
  • Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) where applicable.
  • Participate in internal audits, instrument qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), and proficiency testing.
  • Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and cross-functional departments as needed.
