Job Description:

The Regional Strategic Sales Head will lead business growth across multiple regions by formulating and executing sales strategies with a focus on banking and insurance sector expertise, hardcore sales, and advanced planning. This role requires strong leadership in driving high-performing teams, scaling revenue, building customer and partner networks, and ensuring market penetration. The individual will collaborate with senior leadership to position the company as the preferred partner across markets.

Key Deliverables:

  • Formulate and implement regional sales strategies with a focus on the BFSI/insurance sector.
  • Drive revenue growth, client acquisition, and large-scale business expansion.
  • Lead and develop high-performing sales teams across multiple geographies.
  • Ensure operational excellence and strong client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Sales & Market Planning
  • Define and implement region-wise sales strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Leverage banking and insurance domain expertise to unlock new customer acquisition
  • opportunities.
  • Conduct competitor benchmarking and market analysis to identify growth levers.
  • Design long-term sales forecasts, revenue goals, and expansion plans.
  1. Business Development & Revenue Growth
  • Drive aggressive revenue growth through high-volume deal closures and expansion into new territories.
  • Build CXO-level relationships in banking, insurance, and related sectors.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team for campaign alignment, lead generation, and branding initiatives.
  • Explore partnerships, alliances, and collaborations to enhance regional growth.
  1. Leadership & People Development
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of regional/area sales managers and frontline sales teams.
  • Establish a performance-driven culture by setting clear KPIs, conducting reviews, and building accountability.
  • Roll out continuous training, coaching, and development programs for sales talent.
  • Encourage cross-regional knowledge sharing and synergy.
  1. Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management
  • Own and lead end-to-end sales cycles, from prospecting to closures.
  • Ensure exceptional client experiences across all touchpoints.
  • Drive customer loyalty and repeat business through superior engagement.
  • Act as a brand ambassador at client forums, networking events, and industry summits.
  1. Operational Excellence & Analytics
  • Streamline sales processes to shorten cycles and maximize conversion ratios.
  • Oversee contracts, pricing strategies, proposals, and documentation.
  • Track KPIs like pipeline velocity, lead-to-closure ratio, revenue growth, and client retention.
  • Present detailed performance dashboards and insights to senior leadership.
  1. Market Expansion & International Growth
  • Establish and strengthen the organization’s footprint in new geographies, including Dubai.
  • Develop localized go-to-market (GTM) strategies tailored for each city/region.
  • Engage with developers, banks, and institutional partners to unlock growth opportunities.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Hardcore Sales Orientation: Proven expertise in driving sales within banking/insurance sectors.

Strategic Vision: Ability to align short-term results with long-term expansion goals.

Leadership Excellence: Track record in building and scaling high-performance sales teams.

Negotiation Mastery: Skilled in closing complex, high-value deals.

Analytical Acumen: Data-driven approach to performance tracking and market forecasting.

Networking Strength: Established network across BFSI and financial services industries.

Communication: Strong executive presence, with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Education & Experience:

  • MBA (Compulsory)—from Tier 1 or Tier 2 institutes.
  • 15+ years of hardcore sales experience, preferably in banking/insurance/financial services.
  • Minimum 8–10 years in senior leadership roles managing large regional teams.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets across multiple regions.
