Role Overview
:
We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with minimum 4 years in automation testing usingSelenium with Java and using Page Object Model. Must have worked on large scale webapplications.
And must be an individual contributor and fully hands-on.

Key Responsibilities
:Hands-on Test Automation
:Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium for and other products we develop.
Identify, document, and track software defects to closure.

Test Planning and Execution
:Design and implement comprehensive test plans for new features and enhancements.

Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and identify testscenarios.
Reporting
:
Analyze test results, generate reports, and communicate findings to the development andproduct teams.
Quality Assurance
:
Ensure adherence to QA processes and standards throughout the software development life cycle.

Must-Have Skills:
1.
Selenium WebDriver Expertise:
Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver with a focus on Java only. Any other technologywould not work for this role.
Mandatory use of the Page Object Model for automation.
2.
Programming Skills:
Strong coding skills in Java and experience with the Page Object Model.
3.Test Automation Frameworks:
Experience with TestNG frameworks is mandatory. This is something everyone doing Selenium will know normally.

4.Git Experience:Proficient in using Git for version control. This is a mandatory ask and also very common. 5.
Manual Testing:
Should be good with manual testing as well as automation. Our expectation is forAutomation tester to run the manual tests so they understand flow and functionality andthen build the automation scripts.
6.Continuous Learning:
Must be investing in learning and keeping up with new technologies.

Good to Have Skills:
1.API Testing:
Knowledge of REST API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured. This is good tohave, and not mandatory.
CI/CD Integration:
Knowledge of integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, etc.At the least should be aware of this and how it works, even if not hands-on.

SQL (rate on SQL)
Web security and how it is exploited
