An AutoCAD/Machine Design Assistant job description involves supporting design teams by creating, editing, and managing technical drawings and 2D/3D models using AutoCAD, ensuring designs meet project specifications and industry standards, and maintaining organized project files. Key Responsibilities

Create and modify detailed mechanical drawings, schematics, and 3D models using AutoCAD and other relevant software.

Maintain organized drawing files, documentation, and project libraries, ensuring proper version control and adherence to company CAD standards.

Assist senior designers and engineers in developing concepts and turning them into tangible design documents.

Work with engineers, project managers, and other cross-functional teams to integrate design components and incorporate feedback.

Ensure the accuracy and functionality of designs, checking for precision, adherence to specifications, and compliance with industry standards.

Help prepare presentations, materials for client meetings, and manage project timelines and deadlines as needed.

Conduct research on design trends, materials, and best practices to stay current in the industry.
