Job Description:

The Production Incharge oversees the entire production process, ensuring that manufacturing activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and meet quality standards. This role involves supervising the production team, coordinating with various departments, and maintaining smooth workflow to meet production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise the daily operations of the production floor.

• Plan, schedule, and control production processes to meet output goals and deadlines.

• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and company policies.

• Monitor machinery and equipment performance, coordinating maintenance and repairs as needed.

• Lead, train, and motivate production staff to achieve productivity and efficiency.

• Coordinate with procurement, quality control, and logistics departments to streamline workflow.

• Analyze production data and prepare reports for management review.

• Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements for cost and time efficiency.

• Maintain inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.

• Enforce adherence to health and safety regulations on the shop floor.

• Resolve any production issues or delays promptly to minimize downtime.

• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.

• Proven experience in production or manufacturing, preferably in a supervisory role.

• Strong knowledge of production processes and quality control.

• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to analyze data and solve problems effectively.

• Familiarity with production management software or ERP systems.

• Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
