Job Description:
Project Coordination:
Serving as the primary point of contact between the solar company and government authorities, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
Ensuring smooth communication and coordination between internal teams and external parties for solar power projects.
Regulatory Compliance:
Handling all statutory, legal, and regulatory approvals required for solar power projects such as land acquisition, environmental clearances, and permits.
Ensuring compliance with all governmental regulations, standards, and policies related to solar EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects.
Managing documentation and approvals from government departments including DISCOMs, CEIG, GEDA, etc.
Relationship and Stakeholder Management:
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with local authorities, utility companies, and other relevant stakeholders.
Coordinating with government departments for net metering, CRIG/CEIG approvals, and other statutory requirements.
Resolving issues and conflicts during the project lifecycle by maintaining professional relationships with government officials.
Reporting and Documentation:
Preparing and submitting necessary reports and documentation to regulatory bodies and internal management.
Keeping accurate records of all liaison activities and communications.
Support for Project Execution:
Assisting in planning, scheduling, and tracking solar project timelines to ensure timely completion.
Collaborating with project management teams to support smooth project delivery.
Risk and Compliance Management:
Keeping updated on changes in regulations and ensuring project adherence.
Identifying risks related to regulatory compliance and developing mitigation strategies.
Other Responsibilities:
Traveling locally for site visits and meetings as needed.
Possibly handling legal document drafting and tender processes.
Required skills often include strong communication and negotiation abilities, familiarity with state and national solar regulations, proficiency in MS Office, and the capability to manage multiple tasks independently
