Job Description:
A Store Manager oversees a retail store's daily operations, staff, finances, and customer service to ensure profitability and a positive shopping experienceKey responsibilities include managing staff (hiring, training, scheduling), controlling inventory, analyzing sales data, maintaining visual merchandising, ensuring compliance with policies and safety, and driving customer satisfaction by resolving complaints and fostering a welcoming environment.  
 
Staff Management
  • Hiring and Training:
    Recruit, train, and develop employees to meet store and customer service standards. 
     
  • Performance & Scheduling:
    Supervise staff, set sales goals, conduct performance reviews, and create shift schedules. 
     
  • Team Motivation:
    Foster a positive and productive work environment to motivate the sales team and achieve objectives. 
     
Operations & Finance
  • Daily Operations:
    Ensure the store operates smoothly and efficiently from opening to closing. 
     
  • Budgeting & Financial Records:
    Manage store budgets, monitor expenses, and maintain financial records to track performance. 
     
  • Sales Targets:
    Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales and profit targets, analyzing performance data to identify growth opportunities. 
     
Inventory & Visual Merchandising
  • Inventory Control:
    Manage stock levels, order new products, conduct inventory counts, and handle returns to prevent stockouts and overstocking. 
     
  • Visual Presentation:
    Ensure the store's layout, displays, and overall appearance are appealing and reflect company standards to attract customers. 
     
Customer Service & Experience
  • Customer Satisfaction:
    Provide excellent customer service, resolve complaints professionally, and maintain high standards for all staff interactions. 
     
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    Build strong relationships with customers to ensure a positive and memorable shopping experience. 
     
Compliance & Safety
  • Policy Adherence:
    Ensure all store operations and staff activities comply with company policies and procedures. 
     
  • Health & Safety:
    Implement and enforce health, safety, and security protocols to protect staff and customers and ensure regulatory compliance. 
Company Profile

manufacturing of billet --- sponge iron --- has a 6 mega watt waste recovery power plant. Currently H.A. Sponge --- power has manufacturing capacity of 1 Lac M.T. per annum of Billet which . It has 3 kilns in sponge iron each with a capacity of 100 T.P.D. Which is self consumed.
