Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Book Closure

Maintain accurate books of accounts as per relevant NBFC accounting standards

.Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closure of accounts.

Prepare trial balances, general ledgers, and reconciliations (bank, vendor, intercompany, etc.).

Financial Reporting

Prepare financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.

Assist in preparation of monthly MIS and variance analysis for internal stakeholders.

Support financial consolidation, if applicable.

Regulatory Compliance

Assist in compiling and submitting regulatory returns to RBI and other statutory authorities.

Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax Act, and other applicable financial regulations

.Audit Support

Liaise with statutory, internal, and tax auditors during audits.

Prepare audit schedules, documentation, and clarifications as required.

Implement audit recommendations in consultation with the Finance Controller.

Taxation & TDS

Assist in GST, TDS, and advance tax computations and filings.

Ensure timely payments and reconciliations with the books.

Process & Controls

Support the implementation of internal financial controls (IFC).

Identify areas for automation and process improvements within the finance function.
