Position:          Plant Head

Location:         Bhiwandi - Mumbai

Experience:     8 - 10 Years 

Industries:      Engineering

Responsibilities: 

• Plant Operations & Production Management
• Oversee and manage daily operations of the Panel Production unit to ensure smooth, uninterrupted manufacturing.
• Plan, monitor, and execute production schedules to meet delivery timelines and quality standards.
• Optimize the use of vacuum tables and ensure their regular maintenance for maximum productivity.
• Monitor machine performance and coordinate preventive maintenance to avoid downtime.
• Procurement & Material Management
• Identify and maintain reliable sources for raw material procurement, including local and international vendors.
• Plan and forecast material requirements in alignment with production schedules.
• Negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing without compromising quality.
• Ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing wastage and excess inventory.
• Team Leadership & People Management
• Lead, guide, and motivate the manufacturing team to achieve production targets and maintain high morale.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous skill development.
• Handle conflicts promptly and professionally, ensuring harmonious workplace relationships.
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, review progress, and address challenges.
• Quality, Safety & Compliance
• Ensure all products meet the company’s quality specifications and industry standards.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Implement and monitor safety protocols to prevent workplace accidents and hazards.
• Reporting & Coordination
• Report directly to the Managing Director on plant performance, production output, material usage, and cost control measures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Sales, Procurement, Logistics) to ensure smooth order execution.
• Present regular performance reports, improvement plans, and strategic recommendations to management.

Required Skills

• Strong technical and operational knowledge of panel manufacturing processes.
• Procurement and vendor negotiation expertise.
• Excellent leadership, team-building, and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong planning, multitasking, and problem-solving ability.
• Proficiency in production planning tools, ERP systems, and MS Office.

Required Qualification: - Diploma/B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical/Production

Salary :- Upto 20.00 LPA
