Job Description:
- Installation and Calibration: Oversee the installation, configuration, and calibration of field instruments and device as below o Pressure Transmitter (PT) o Flow Meter o Level Transmitter (LT) o On/Off Valves / Control Valves (CV) o LEL /Hydrogen/Oxygen Meters • PLC and Automation Skills: Thorough knowledge and hands-on experience with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems, including: o Digital Input (DI) configuration, troubleshooting, and signal verification. o Digital Output (DO) wiring, relay logic, and operational verification. o Analog Input (AI) setup, calibration, loop checking, and diagnostic troubleshooting. o Analog Output (AO) configuration, calibration, signal scaling, and testing. o Understanding of PLC hardware components, including input/output modules, communication interfaces, and basic system integration. o Ability to interpret PLC logic diagrams, control schematics, and P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams). o Basic knowledge of communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, and Ethernet/IP. o Capability to assist in routine maintenance and troubleshooting of PLC-based control systems and instrumentation networks. • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Identify and resolve technical issues related to instrumentation systems, including troubleshooting faulty devices, diagnosing measurement inaccuracies, and implementing corrective actions • Ensure cable terminate/gland and reliable power source to instruments systems
