DTP Operator - Mumbai (Ghatkopar (W))
Job Description:
Job Summary :
- Currently PSIPL is looking for an experienced D.T.P. Operator (D.T.P.O.) proficient in basic and advanced English, Hindi, and Marathi grammar rules and understand how it is used within our line of business.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating the work of manuscripts into digital files ready to go to print.
- Must communicate effectively with the internal staff & departments to ensure the documents meet all company guidelines. This position will report to the Pre-Press Manager.
Responsibilities :
- Accuracy and a min speed in typing English, Hindi & Marathi manuscripts (40w.p.m. & 30w.p.m. respectively).
- Edit graphics, photos, illustration as per the requirement.
- Integrate images and text to create cohesive pages.
- Adjust text properties, such as size, column width, and spacing.
- Revise layouts and make corrections as necessary.
- Translate the work of manuscripts, annual reports, tabular data, etc. into digital files ready to go to print.
- Print & pre-press knowledge is an added advantage.
- Maintaining all records according to the project.
Skills Competencies :
- Knowledge of Indesign software and Typing – English Hindi Marathi language is must
- Min. 3-4 years of experience as a D.T.P. Operator.
- Proficient in software like MS Office, Indesign, Illustrator, Cloud CC.
- Artistic abilities.
- Detail oriented and ability to communicate information, whether technical or non-technical to in a clear and concise manner.
