Designation - QC Engineer
Qualification - BE Mechanical
Professional Qualification - ASNT NDT Level II (UT, MT, PT,RT)
Welding inspector Cswip 3.1 will be added advantage
Work period - long term
No. Of vacancies - 2 Nos.
Experience - 8 years' experience in Manufacturing inspections of Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Storage Tanks.

A QC Engineer ensures products and processes meet quality and industry standards through inspection, testing, and process analysisResponsibilities include developing quality standards, implementing tests, investigating issues, generating reports, and coordinating with production and management to maintain compliance and implement continuous improvements. 
 
Core Responsibilities
    • Develop and Implement Standards: 
      Create and update quality control processes, procedures, and standards for products and materials. 
       
  • Inspect and Test: 
    Conduct inspections and tests on materials and products at various stages of production to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards. 
     
  • Analyze and Report: 
    Collect and analyze data, prepare detailed reports on quality control findings, and document deviations from standards. 
     
  • Problem Solving: 
    Investigate customer complaints and non-conforming products to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions. 
     
  • Process Improvement: 
    Identify opportunities for improving existing processes, procedures, and products to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. 
     
Key Activities
  • Material and Product Evaluation: 
    Inspect incoming materials and outgoing products, ensuring they comply with required specifications. 
     
  • Documentation: 
    Create and maintain documentation, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and records of quality activities. 
     
  • Auditing: 
    Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, local regulations, and international standards like ISO 9001. 
     
  • Collaboration: 
    Work closely with production, engineering, and management teams, as well as clients and suppliers, to address quality issues and achieve quality goals. 
     
  • Compliance: 
    Ensure the organization's products and processes meet all applicable federal, industry, and safety standards.

  • Technical Knowledge: 
    Strong understanding of quality management systems, testing methodologies, and industry-specific standards. 
     
  • Analytical Skills: 
    Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and determine the root causes of quality issues.
