Job Description:

About the Role

The Business Development Manager will be a pivotal player in the firm's expansion strategy. The role involves building a portfolio of HNW/UHNW clients by providing bespoke investment advisory and solutions. The position offers significant autonomy, direct impact on business growth, and the opportunity to work with a sophisticated product suite in a meritocratic culture.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for acquiring and nurturing relationships with HNW/UHNW individuals and families.
  • Provide expert advisory on Aequitas’s proprietary range of investment products and strategies, suitable for UHNIs / Family offices.
  • Collaborate with the investment team to understand investment strategy to present to investors.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of market trends and economic factors to offer proactive, value-added advice.
  • Achieve and exceed agreed-upon targets for client engagement – AUM is an outcome of the discussions – and not the target.

 The Ideal Candidate Profile

 Academic Excellence:

  • MBA from a Tier-1 / Premier B-School (e.g., IIMs, ISB, XLRI).
  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering or Commerce from a leading institution.
  • Relevant Experience (5-7 years):
  • A consistent track record in a client-facing, revenue-generating role within the wealth management/private banking sector of a top-tier institution.
