The Manager will be responsible for overseeing the monitoring, operation, and maintenance of both wind-solar hybrid projects and existing operating wind farms. This role will involve strategic oversight, daily operations, and coordination with multiple teams to ensure optimal performance and compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. The Manager will also provide senior management with regular updates, and presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day monitoring of wind-solar hybrid projects and ensure its smooth execution.
• Develop and implement performance tracking systems for hybrid projects, ensuring they meet the given timelines.
• Regularly provide updates to senior management regarding project status, ongoing challenges.
• Create and present detailed PowerPoint presentations that outline operational performance, maintenance status.
• Lead and manage cross-functional teams responsible for the project execution, operation and maintenance of wind and solar hybrid assets.
• Collaborate with EPC Contractor and construction teams for seamless project execution and taking-over.
• Collaborate with OEMs for wind turbines and solar modules, ensuring clear and consistent communication. Coordinate procurement activities, ensuring that all wind turbines, components, and solar modules are delivered as per the project timelines and specifications. Monitor the quality and compliance of equipment delivered by OEMs and ensure it meets contractual and technical standards.
• Oversee the logistics process, including the transportation, delivery, and storage of wind turbine components and solar modules. Coordinate with transportation providers, ensuring safe and timely delivery of large equipment, such as turbine blades, nacelles, towers, and solar panels. Ensure all equipment is properly documented, tracked, and stored safely to prevent damage or loss during transit and handling.
• Supervise the movement of materials and components from the storage yard to the installation site, ensuring efficient inter-carting processes. Coordinate with site teams to ensure that necessary materials are available at the installation locations on time and in the correct order. Oversee site preparation activities to facilitate the smooth delivery and handling of materials for the erection phase.
• Coordinate the site preparation and assembly process for wind turbine erection and solar module installation. Work closely with installation teams to ensure turbines are erected as per design specifications, with a focus on safety, quality, and timely completion. Ensure the installation of solar modules is performed efficiently, as per engineering designs. Ensure the proper commissioning of wind turbines and solar systems, ensuring all systems are operational and ready to take-over for further operations and maintenance.
• Should have knowledge of manufacturing of Solar Modules and Solar Cells, machinery, raw materials.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical
• 8+ years of experience in the renewable energy sector overseeing wind and/or solar projects.
• Proven experience in operations and maintenance of wind farms, hybrid energy projects, or large-scale renewable energy projects.
• Strong understanding of SCADA systems, wind turbine technology, solar energy systems, and hybrid project design.
• Excellent project management skills, with experience in resource management.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (especially Excel, MS Projects and PowerPoint) for reporting and presentations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred:

• Experience with hybrid wind-solar projects and understanding of integration challenges.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements for wind and solar energy.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with performance optimization strategies.
