Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Back Office Operations

  • Manage all back-office activities related to investments and client account maintenance.
  • Ensure accuracy in documentation and timely processing of mutual fund, PMS, and AIF transactions.
  • Maintain up-to-date records for compliance, audit, and regulatory requirements.

Client Interaction and Support

  • Professionally interact with clients to address and resolve investment-related queries.
  • Prepare and share client reports such as Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, portfolio valuations, visa letters, and other relevant investment documents.
  • Support clients in completing necessary KYC and account opening procedures, including demat account openings.

Transaction and Process Management

  • Process transactions such as mutual fund purchases, sales, broker code changes, and dematerialization requests.
  • Execute account-related updates including minor-to-major status changes, change of tax status, name deletions, and mutual fund transmissions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies for tax and compliance verification, including reconciliation of tax computations.

Client Relationship Management and Sales Support

  • Maintain ongoing communication with existing clients to understand their evolving financial needs.
  • Identify opportunities for additional product sales and facilitate cross-selling of PMS, AIF, and mutual funds.
  • Handle new client references and assist in onboarding processes to enhance client acquisition.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, or related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in back-office operations, wealth management, or financial services preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of mutual funds, PMS, stock market transactions, and taxation.
  • Excellent communication and client-handling skills to interact professionally with clients and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
