Process Design Engineer

Job Description:

• Develop process design deliverables such as PFDs, P&IDs, equipment sizing, mass & energy balances.

• Prepare and review Basic Engineering Packages (BEP) and Detailed Engineering Packages (DEP).

• Conduct process simulations, hydraulic calculations, and heat & material balances.

• Work on equipment design (reactors, heat exchangers, distillation columns, pumps, compressors, etc.).

• Prepare process datasheets for equipment and instruments.

• Support in HAZOP, PHA, and risk assessments to ensure process safety.

• Provide technical support during procurement, fabrication, erection & commissioning.

• Optimize existing processes to improve efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, instrumentation, civil, project, EHS).

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulatory guidelines.
