Job Title: Solar Sales Coordinator

Reporting To: Sales Manager / Regional Sales Head
Employment Type: Full-Time


Job Summary

The Solar Sales Coordinator will act as the key support for the sales team, ensuring smooth operations, timely follow-ups, and effective coordination between clients, vendors, and internal teams. This role involves administrative support, sales tracking, lead management, and assisting the sales team in achieving monthly and annual targets for solar solutions (residential, commercial, or industrial projects).


Key Responsibilities

Sales Coordination & Support

  • Support the sales team by managing schedules, appointments, and client follow-ups.

  • Maintain and update the CRM system with leads, customer interactions, and sales pipeline status.

  • Coordinate between clients, internal technical teams, and field engineers for project execution.

  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender submissions for clients.

  • Assist in organizing product demos, webinars, and customer meetings.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of sales, invoices, and contracts.

  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for management review.

  • Ensure timely preparation of documentation required for government approvals, subsidies, or incentives.

  • Track delivery schedules and coordinate with logistics and procurement teams.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for client queries and complaints until resolution.

  • Ensure excellent customer experience by timely updates and proactive communication.

  • Follow up with clients post-installation for feedback and potential upselling opportunities.

Administrative & Coordination Tasks

  • Assist in coordination of site surveys and project installations.

  • Liaise with marketing teams to schedule campaigns, promotions, and customer outreach programs.

  • Support the sales team in travel arrangements, meeting setups, and presentations.

  • Maintain inventory of product brochures, samples, and marketing collaterals.


Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Highly organized with attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.

  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.

  • Basic understanding of solar technology, products, and installation processes is a plus.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Educational Qualification: Graduate in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or related field.

  • Experience: 0–3 years in sales coordination, preferably in solar, renewable energy, or electrical industry.

  • Other Requirements:

    • Willingness to travel for client meetings or site inspections.

    • Customer-oriented with a professional approach.
