About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Senior Marketing Manager with proven experience in the shipping line or maritime logistics sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing marketing strategies, enhancing brand visibility, managing customer relationships, and driving business growth across key trade routes and markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to increase market share and brand presence in the shipping and logistics sector.

• Analyze market trends, freight rates, trade patterns, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

• Manage and strengthen relationships with freight forwarders, NVOCCs, importers/exporters, and key accounts.

• Coordinate with sales and operations teams to align marketing campaigns with business objectives.

• Design and implement digital and offline marketing campaigns, including events, trade shows, and client engagement programs.

• Lead market research efforts to support pricing strategies, route development, and new service launches.

• Prepare marketing budgets, reports, and ROI analyses for campaigns and promotional activities.

• Monitor customer satisfaction and implement initiatives to improve client retention and loyalty.

• Supervise a small marketing team and guide them in content creation, branding, and campaign execution.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Education: MBA / PG in Marketing, International Business, or related field.

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in marketing or business development within a shipping line, NVOCC, or freight forwarding company.

• Strong understanding of container shipping operations, liner services, and trade lanes.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and digital marketing platforms.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market trends effectively.
