Job Summary:

The Operations Manager at Akasa Coworking will be responsible for overseeing the smooth functioning of day-to-day operations across centers, ensuring service excellence, cost efficiency, and an exceptional member experience. This role demands a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can manage teams, vendors, and facilities while upholding Akasa’s quality standards and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Center Operations Management
  • Oversee daily operations of the Coworking centers, ensuring smooth functioning of all facilities and services.
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and service delivery.
  • Monitor occupancy, renewals, and space utilization to maximize profitability.
  • Implement and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across centers.
  1. Facility & Vendor Management
  • Manage all vendors related to housekeeping, maintenance, security, pantry, and technical services.
  • Ensure timely preventive maintenance and quick resolution of breakdowns.
  • Negotiate and monitor vendor contracts, ensuring adherence to quality and cost standards.
  • Coordinate with landlords and external agencies for maintenance and compliance.
  1. Financial Control
  • Prepare and monitor operational budgets for each center.
  • Track and control operational costs to maintain profitability.
  • Coordinate with the accounts team for timely processing of payments, rent, and utility bills.
  1. Team Management
  • Lead and guide on-site staff including front office, housekeeping, and technical support teams.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, training, and team meetings.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  1. Member Experience & Relationship Management
  • Ensure a seamless and positive experience for all members and clients.
  • Address member queries and grievances promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate with the Community & Sales teams for smooth onboarding and renewals.
  • Maintain consistent communication with members to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  1. Compliance & Reporting
  • Ensure all operations comply with company policies, legal, and safety standards.
  • Maintain records of occupancy, expenses, maintenance logs, and incident reports.
  • Submit regular MIS reports to management on operational performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration, Operations, or Hospitality.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Coworking, facility management, or hospitality operations.
  • Strong leadership and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with facility management tools.
