Maintenance Head

Job Description:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance programs and strategies for both manufacturing equipment and field-installed products.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor a team of maintenance staff, including technicians and supervisors.
• Operational Oversight:
  • Oversee all preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and activities to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Coordinate and manage corrective maintenance actions, responding to and resolving equipment outages quickly and safely.
  • Manage and monitor the use of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track maintenance history and performance.
• Financial Management: Control maintenance budgets, track expenses, and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to company safety policies and relevant industry regulations.
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Analyze maintenance data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Work with production and engineering teams to implement lean improvement initiatives and support new equipment installations.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships and negotiate contracts with external vendors and service providers.
