Job summary-
Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the administrative and operational support functions of the HQ procurement department – None Trade Material. This role ensures that procurement processes are executed efficiently, supplier records are maintained accurately, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations is upheld. The Team Lead will manage a team of procurement coordinators or assistants and act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and suppliers.
Key responsibilities-
- Lead and supervise the back-office procurement team to ensure efficient execution of procurement support tasks.
- Oversee the creation, tracking, and closure of purchase orders (POs) and service orders in ERP systems (Oracle).
- Maintain accurate supplier master data, contract records, and documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Monitor procurement KPIs such as PO cycle time, vendor responsiveness, and compliance rates.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and process insights.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and accuracy.
- Train and mentor junior team members on procurement systems, policies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, ERP systems (Oracle), and vendor management.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in procurement is a plus.
- Experience in large-scale organization.
- Familiarity with e-procurement tools and digital procurement platforms.
