Job Description:

  • Technical Expertise: 
    Provide leadership and oversight for all technical aspects, which may include the maintenance, repair, and operation of specific equipment like boilers, compressors, or plant machinery. 
     
  • Compliance and Safety: 
    Ensure all mechanical activities comply with relevant safety standards, regulations, and best practices. 
     
  • Collaboration: 
    Work with other departments (e.g., process, electrical, controls) to coordinate activities, solve problems, and achieve organizational goals. 
     
  • Procurement and Inventory: 
    In some roles, this includes the procurement of equipment, managing inventory, and evaluating technical bids.
