AM - Instrumentation & Automation Engineer for MNC company

Job Description:

Automation & Control System Management-

• Lead the operation, maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, and Distributed Control Systems (DCS).

• Ensure high availability and reliability of all critical automation and control systems across the facility.

• Manage system backups, security, and lifecycle management for all automation hardware and software.

• Oversee the implementation of process control improvements and optimization projects.

Instrumentation & Calibration-

• Direct the maintenance, calibration, and repair of all process instrumentation (e.g., flow, pressure, temperature, level) to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Develop and execute scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs for instrumentation and control devices.

• Ensure all instruments are calibrated according to internal procedures and regulatory requirements.

Team Leadership & Project Execution-

• Supervise and provide technical guidance and training to the instrumentation and automation technicians/engineers.

• Manage instrumentation and automation projects from scope definition through commissioning, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

• Coordinate with other engineering and production departments for maintenance and project execution.

• Assist in vendor management, technical specification, and procurement of new instrumentation and automation equipment.
