Job Description:

Position:        Director - Integrated Rural Development Program

Location:       Bandra - Mumbai

Experience:    15 - 20 years

Industries:     NGO

Responsibilities:       

  • Conceptualize, develop and oversee the implementation of a comprehensive strategy for agribased rural development project and skilling with community participation for the benefit ofsmall and landless farmers and their families, aligned with the organization's mission and goals.

  • Work closely with government agencies, community-based organizations, and other stakeholders to build partnerships and mobilize resources for program implementation.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of program managers and specialists, ensuring that they are delivering high-quality programs and services to communities across project locations.
  • Ensure effective monitoring and evaluation of program activities, with a focus on impact assessment and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and manage the program budget, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and effectively.
  • Engage and collaborate with YP functions (internal), Fundraising Team, Sponsors/Donors to drive support to the field teams in their project execution.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, learning, process orientation, system adoption and collaboration
  • within the program team with a clear focus on building strong and motivated performance oriented teams.
  • Provide thought and idea leadership that capitalises on trends in the rural landscape and provide alternatives to the team to achieve their skilling objectives.

Required Skills:

  • High energy, strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of professionals.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build partnerships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the social, economic, and political context of rural India, with a focus on aspirational districts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data and evidence to inform program design and decision-making.
  • Experience with budget management, grant writing, and fundraising.
  • Experience in working at Senior Levels in organisations like PRADAN, SRIJAN, CInI and similar and managing large rural development programs sponsored by large Indian and International
  • Organisations will be an added advantage.

Required Qualification: - Master Degree - Rural Development/Social Work/Public Policy

Salary: - Upto 20.00 LPA
