WELDER FOR STEEL INDUSTRY - POWER PLANT - RAIPUR , CHHATTISGARH

• Welding and Fabrication: 

  Use welding equipment to join, repair, and maintain metal structures, boilers, pressure vessels, and piping systems. 

   
• Blueprint Interpretation: 

  Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to plan and execute welding and assembly operations. 

   
• Material Preparation: 

  Cut, shape, and fit metal components using tools like plasma cutters, grinders, and torches, ensuring proper alignment before welding. 

   
• Quality Assurance: 

  Inspect all welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications. This includes checking for cracks, wear, and other defects, and performing corrective actions if needed. 

   
• Maintenance: 

  Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools, and conduct inspections on power plant equipment to prevent failures. 

   
• Safety Compliance: 

  Follow all safety procedures and regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), especially when working with high-temperature or high-pressure systems. 

   
• Team Collaboration: 

  Work with engineers, machinists, and other team members to ensure tasks are completed correctly and to train others as needed. 

   
• Documentation: 

  Complete production and quality forms to document actions and work performed. 

   

• Proficiency in various welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of different metal types and their properties.
• Familiarity with power plant operations and industry safety standards.
• Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy materials.
• Manual dexterity and strong hand-eye coordination.
• Attention to detail and precision.
