Job Description:

Requirement : 

Position               : Sales Engineer

Experience          : 2 - 4 years in Electrical Equipment Sales

Education           : Diploma/B.E/B.Tech – Electrical & MBA in Marketing (preferred but not mandatory).

Salary                   : As Per Company Standards

Location              : Indore, Madhya Pradesh

Working Days     : 6 Days

Working Time     : 9:00AM to 6:00 PM

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in the electrical switchgear segment (Numerical Relays & Automation products, etc.).
  • Generate inquiries and follow up with clients, consultants, contractors, and OEMs for project/business development.
  • Prepare and submit techno-commercial offers, quotations, and proposals.
  • Understand client requirements and provide suitable technical & commercial solutions.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close deals successfully.
  • Coordinate with OEMs (e.g., Siemens.) for product pricing, technical details, and order execution.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to execute promotional activities, seminars, exhibitions, and product launches.
  • Achieve sales targets and ensure timely collection of payments.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and MIS updates to management.

 

 

Technical Skill

  • Understanding of electrical protection systems and numerical relays
  • Strong knowledge of electrical switchgear products (VCB, ACB, MCC, PCC panels, protection relays, isolators, etc.).
  • Technical understanding of electrical drawings, SLDs, and protection schemes.
  • Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Target-oriented mindset with a proactive sales approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Knowledge of MV/LV switchgear and power distribution equipment

 

Travel Requirements

  • Local travel within Indore and nearby areas (60% of time)
  • Occasional visits to Vadodara for training and meetings
  • Industry events and customer sites as business requires
