Solar Lead (DGM/DM) -Mumbai

Job Description:

The Solar Lead will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of large-scale solar projects, from initial development and planning to installation, commissioning, and operations. This role will involve leading technical teams, managing project budgets and schedules, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving the successful and safe delivery of ArcelorMittal's green energy objectives. 

Key responsibilities

Project management and execution

• Direct and coordinate the end-to-end development of solar projects, ensuring all milestones are met on time and within budget.
• Manage contractors, suppliers, and internal teams involved in project execution, from engineering and procurement to construction (EPC).
• Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and technical specifications for large-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) installations. 

Technical leadership

• Provide deep technical expertise on solar panel systems, including design, installation, and optimization.
• Ensure all solar projects comply with technical specifications, regulatory requirements, and the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in solar technology, equipment, and industry best practices.
