Job Description:

 

A Recruitment Manager oversees the entire hiring process, from strategy to onboarding, by developing recruitment plans, leading a team of recruiters, and collaborating with hiring managers to attract and select top talent. Key responsibilities include sourcing candidates, screening and interviewing, negotiating offers, and ensuring compliance with hiring regulations. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills to manage the recruitment pipeline and meet organizational staffing needs. 
 
Core responsibilities
  • Strategy and planning: Develop and implement recruitment strategies to meet company staffing needs, and collaborate with department heads to define job roles.
  • Team leadership: Manage, mentor, and evaluate the performance of a recruitment team.
  • Full-cycle recruitment: Oversee the entire hiring process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending job offers.
  • Candidate experience: Ensure a positive experience for candidates throughout the hiring process and manage the onboarding of new hires.
  • Process optimization: Analyze recruitment metrics (like time-to-hire and cost-per-hire) to identify areas for improvement.
  • Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with labor laws and company policies.
  • Networking and brand: Build professional networks and represent the company at career fairs and other industry events.
  • Reporting and analytics: Track and report on key recruitment metrics to management. 
 
Key skills and qualifications
  • Leadership and management: Strong ability to lead and manage a team.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical: Skills in problem-solving and analyzing data to improve processes.
  • Strategic thinking: Ability to develop and execute effective recruitment strategies.
  • Technical proficiency: Experience with various recruitment software and platforms, such as LinkedIn.
  • Industry knowledge: Understanding of labor laws, HR practices, and recruitment trends.
  • Education: Typically requires a bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field.
