Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire HR operations of the manufacturing unit.
  • Manage labour handling and workforce management of up to 500 workers.
  • Ensure statutory compliance related to labour laws, PF, ESI, factory act, etc.
  • Handle grievance management and maintain healthy employee relations.
  • Supervise time office, attendance, and payroll coordination.
  • Liaise with government departments and labour offices as required.
  • Oversee canteen and staff welfare activities to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Implement and monitor HR policies, training, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Maintain all statutory records and support audit requirements.

 

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in HR or Industrial Relations.
  • 8–12 years of experience in HR management within a manufacturing setup.
  • Preference for candidates from Jute or Tea industry background.
  • Strong knowledge of labour management and compliance.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on experience in handling large labour workforce and contract labour.
