Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire HR operations of the manufacturing unit.
- Manage labour handling and workforce management of up to 500 workers.
- Ensure statutory compliance related to labour laws, PF, ESI, factory act, etc.
- Handle grievance management and maintain healthy employee relations.
- Supervise time office, attendance, and payroll coordination.
- Liaise with government departments and labour offices as required.
- Oversee canteen and staff welfare activities to ensure smooth functioning.
- Implement and monitor HR policies, training, and disciplinary procedures.
- Maintain all statutory records and support audit requirements.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Graduate / Postgraduate in HR or Industrial Relations.
- 8–12 years of experience in HR management within a manufacturing setup.
- Preference for candidates from Jute or Tea industry background.
- Strong knowledge of labour management and compliance.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience in handling large labour workforce and contract labour.
