Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and update detailed project schedules (baseline and revised) using Primavera P6 / MS Project.

  • Coordinate with project, design, procurement, and execution teams to ensure alignment with the project plan.

  • Prepare work breakdown structure (WBS) and integrate all project activities including design, procurement, and construction.

  • Track project progress, identify deviations, and propose corrective actions.

  • Prepare and monitor resource (manpower, equipment, and material) allocation plans.

  • Conduct periodic progress reviews and generate reports such as S-curves, histograms, and dashboards.

  • Assist in preparing cash flow forecasts, project cost tracking, and productivity analysis.

  • Support project management in claims preparation, time extensions, and delay analysis.

  • Liaise with client representatives, consultants, and subcontractors for planning-related matters.

  • Ensure compliance with contractual schedules, milestones, and deliverables.

  • Participate in risk assessment and mitigation planning for schedule-related risks.


Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel-based planning tools.

  • Understanding of highway project construction methodology and sequencing.

  • Experience in EPC / DBFOT / HAM model highway projects preferred.

  • Good analytical and communication skills for coordination with multiple stakeholders.

  • Ability to interpret drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.

  • Knowledge of project cost control, resource management, and reporting systems.


Educational Qualification:

  • B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.

  • Certification in Project Management / Primavera is an added advantage.


Preferred Background:

  • Experience in planning and monitoring of National Highway (NH) or State Highway projects.

  • Exposure to NHAI / MoRTH project documentation and progress reporting formats.

  • Prior experience with leading EPC contractors or infrastructure companies.
