Assistant Manager - Maintenance & Planning

Job Description:

• Prepare and execute site-wide equipment maintenance plans.
• Ensure all key site equipment is in the green zone to meet volume goals.
• Implement effective maintenance plans as per company policies.
• Create detailed maintenance schedules and track related KPIs.
• Maintain and update equipment health/history cards to prevent breakdowns.
• Plan maintenance for large industrial equipment (fans, pumps, boilers, etc.).
• Review RCA to identify frequent breakdowns and update job plans accordingly.
• Estimate maintenance costs and plan spares procurement for vendor negotiations.
• Maintain effective relationships with operators, vendors, contractors, and team members.
• Read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and manuals.
• Continuously monitor plant equipment.
• Escalate planning changes impacting plant volume deliverables.
• Assist Senior Manager – Engineering in annual budgeting/LBE planning.
• Collaborate with regional/divisional engineering teams to implement best practices.
• Participate in internal and external audits.
• Administer Maximo database changes.
• Conduct Maximo training for new/existing users.
• Act as liaison between Regional/Division Engineering and Plant Engineering.
• Coordinate with Reliability Engineer for PdM program implementation.
