Job Description:
A security supervisor's job description includes leading a team to ensure the safety of people and property by enforcing security policies, managing security personnel, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding to emergencies. Key responsibilities

Team leadership and management:Supervise, train, and schedule security personnel; evaluate their performance and ensure they follow company policies and safety regulations.

Security operations:Oversee daily security operations, conduct patrols, monitor surveillance systems and alarms, and enforce access control measures.

Incident response and investigation:Respond to emergencies, incidents, and disturbances, and investigate security breaches to determine causes and recommend corrective actions.

Risk assessment and policy enforcement:Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments, and develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect assets and minimize risks.

Equipment maintenance:Regularly inspect and maintain security equipment, such as CCTV, alarms, and access control systems, to ensure they are in good working order.

Communication and coordination:Liaise and coordinate with external agencies, like law enforcement, during security emergencies and collaborate with other internal departments on security-related issues.

Reporting:Prepare and submit reports on security incidents, performance, and other security-related matters to management.
Required skills and qualifications
- Proven experience in a security role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with security systems and equipment.
- Knowledge of emergency response procedures.
- Ability to work well with others and stay observant.
- A high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in a related field is often preferred.
- Physical ability to work in various conditions, including outside.
