OPERATOR DM PLANT FOR STEEL COMPANY - RAIPUR , CHHATTISGARH

Job Description:

• Plant Operation: Operate and monitor the DM plant, including starting, monitoring, and shutting down equipment such as pumps, valves, and filters, to meet production requirements.
• Water Quality Control: Regularly test water samples for parameters like pH, conductivity, TDS, and silica to ensure it meets the required specifications.
• Chemical Management: Safely handle chemicals and adjust chemical dosages based on water quality analysis and standard operating procedures.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance on plant equipment, conduct minor repairs, and identify and resolve operational issues or equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of plant operations, including daily activities, water quality test results, and maintenance performed.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure all safety protocols and environmental regulations are strictly followed, and maintain a safe and clean work environment. 

• Experience in operating and maintaining water treatment or DM plants.
• Knowledge of water treatment regulations and guidelines.
• Familiarity with chemical handling and testing procedures.
• Basic computer skills for data recording and system monitoring.
• Ability to work in shifts and collaborate with other personnel.
• Certifications in areas like first aid or hazardous materials handling can be beneficial.
