Job Description:

• Boiler Operation:
  • Start, operate, and shut down high-pressure boilers and associated equipment.
  • Monitor meters and gauges for steam pressure, water levels, and temperature.
  • Ensure efficient combustion by adjusting fuel and air mixtures.
  • Manage and monitor fuel delivery systems.
• Maintenance and Repair:
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
  • Identify and repair minor malfunctions and replace damaged parts.
  • Clean boiler components as needed, such as cleaning tubes.
  • Perform routine lubrication tasks on equipment.
• Water and Chemical Treatment:
  • Monitor and analyze boiler feedwater.
  • Add chemicals as necessary for water treatment to prevent corrosion and scale buildup.
• Safety and Compliance:
  • Monitor and ensure the proper functioning of safety equipment and controls.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols.
  • Take corrective action in response to safety alerts or discrepancies.
• Record Keeping:
  • Keep detailed logs of boiler operations, maintenance activities, and safety checks.
  • Record meter readings and other data as required. 

• Thorough understanding of boiler systems, steam, and high-pressure operations.
• Ability to interpret gauges, meters, and technical data.
• Proficiency in performing routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Knowledge of water treatment and chemical testing.
• Strong attention to safety procedures and regulations.
• Good record-keeping and data logging skills.
