Purpose of role:

 

The role aims to grow the foundry business in India through market penetration, project management, and margin optimization. Key responsibilities include building market awareness, analyzing competitors, understanding the Clariant Foundry portfolio, developing new customers, and delivering solutions to meet customer needs for sustainable growth

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

 

  • Implement market and customer penetration strategies for the Indian foundry bentonite and premix market.
  • Manage projects to ensure accurate, timely, and value-added completion.
  • Achieve target margins for new foundry business based on value-added principles. 
  • Develop and build market awareness of the Indian Foundry Bentonite Business and relevant value propositions.
  • Understand and analyze competitors’ intelligence.
  • Understand the Clariant Foundry product portfolio.
  • Initiate the Foundry Bentonite Business and continue developing new foundry customers.
  • Provide solutions for customers' unmet needs.

 

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Foundry / Metallurgical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in the foundry industry, in either a commercial or technical role.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable and responsible with a commitment to quality and safety.
