Job Description:

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Back-End Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable server-side applications. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills, a solid understanding of system architecture, and hands-on experience working with APIs, databases, and cloud-based environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration, high performance, and secure application workflows.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable back-end systems, APIs, and databases.

  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing components with server logic.

  • Write clean, efficient, and testable code following industry best practices.

  • Optimize application performance, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot production issues.

  • Implement and maintain strong security, authentication, and data protection practices.

  • Participate in code reviews, system architecture discussions, and technical design planning.

  • Work closely with the DevOps team to support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose improvements for system reliability and scalability.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 2–3 years of experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role.

  • Strong proficiency in one or more back-end technologies: Node.js, Python, Java, or Go.

  • Experience with Ruby on Rails (RoR) is a strong advantage.

  • Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.

  • Strong knowledge of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

  • Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
