Job Title: Weldmesh Operator

Experience : 3 plus years

Location:Oman

Salary: 140 to 160 Omr , Visa , Ticket, & accomodation (Excluding food)

10 hr working +2 hr daily OT & Friday Week off

Job Summary :

The Weldmesh Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring weldmesh machines to produce welded wire mesh according to required specifications. The role ensures smooth machine operation, quality output, adherence to safety standards, and timely completion of production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor weldmesh machines (automatic/manual).
• Adjust machine parameters such as wire spacing, mesh size, and welding current.
• Perform routine machine checks before startup and during shift.
• Ensure mesh production meets required specifications (dimensions, spacing, strength).
• Inspect and measure output using calipers, gauges, and measuring tools.
• Identify defects such as improper welds, alignment issues, or wire feeding problems.
• Record production data (output, downtime, scrap, defects).
• Conduct basic preventive maintenance such as lubrication, cleaning, and tightening.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical, electrical, or alignment issues.
• Report major breakdowns immediately to maintenance team.
• Load and feed wires/coils into the machine as per specifications.
• Maintain proper handling and storage of finished mesh bundles.
• Assist in bundling, cutting, stacking, and dispatch preparation.
• Follow all plant safety guidelines, PPE requirements, and lockout/tagout procedures.
