Job Description:

Job Purpose:
The role holder has the responsibility of managing, assessing and monitoring the policy norms., It entails
the responsibility of defining the risk appeƟte and broad level policies for the assigned products,
facilitaƟng technological requirements and ensuring adherence to the statutory guidelines contribuƟng
to the larger objecƟves of the bank.
Roles & Responsibilities:
 Understanding of retail loan products, especially PL, TW, Used Car, and Commercial Vehicle Loans –
preferred experience in underwriƟng / product management of CV/CE and Auto Loans.
 Facilitate regular asset quality reviews with provision of analyƟcs insights to idenƟfy risks/
opportuniƟes and recommend relevant acƟons
 Ensure program risk acceptance criteria are reviewed regularly, with Ɵmely updates for proacƟve
adaptaƟon to changes in legal /regulatory requirements, business strategies, market
environment or porƞolio performance
 Assist in building strong controls to miƟgate risks across all spectrums (Onboarding, Credit,
OperaƟons, Fraud, ReputaƟon)
 Foresee porƞolio direcƟon, loss esƟmates and how to control the same
 Monitor porƞolio delinquencies at a micro level - idenƟficaƟon of segments, locaƟons and
profiles which are delinquent
 Ability to shape the risk appeƟte of the product in line with growth objecƟves and Risk AppeƟte
framework of the bank alongside risk based pricing
 Facilitate implementaƟon of technological intervenƟons like scorecards, digital journeys and
automaƟon to the streamline processes
 Recommend improvements to processes and policies across the Retail Banking business to drive
operaƟonal efficiencies and high quality customer service
 Leverage in-house synergies through collaboraƟon with internal stakeholders
 AƩract and retain best-in-class talent for key roles in their reporƟng structure
