An HR Executive for an amusement park is responsible for managing all aspects of human capital, including recruitment for seasonal and year-round staff, employee relations, onboarding, payroll, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. Key duties include coordinating training, organizing employee engagement activities to boost morale, and assisting with performance management to maintain a positive and safe environment for both guests and staff, especially during peak season.
Key responsibilities
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage the end-to-end hiring process, from job posting and candidate screening to offer letters and onboarding for a potentially large seasonal workforce.
- Employee Relations: Handle employee queries, grievances, and conflicts, acting as a mediator between staff and management to foster a positive and supportive work culture.
- Payroll and Benefits: Oversee payroll processing, manage attendance records, and administer employee benefits like health insurance and leave.
- Compliance and Policy: Ensure the park adheres to all labor laws and employment regulations and assist with internal and external audits.
- Performance Management: Support department heads in performance appraisals, training, and development to help employees grow and improve.
- Employee Engagement: Plan and execute activities, events, and wellness programs to improve employee morale and engagement, which is crucial during high-stress seasons.
- Administrative Support: Maintain accurate employee records, manage HR documentation, and handle exit formalities for departing employees.
Important considerations for this role

- Safety and Compliance: The role requires a strong emphasis on safety regulations and training to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff.
- Diverse Workforce: The role involves managing a diverse workforce that includes both full-time employees and a significant number of temporary or part-time workers.
