Job Description:

The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in expanding market share by establishing and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers at builder groups. This individual will be responsible for driving large project sales, engaging with purchase heads and decision-makers to secure high-volume orders, and ensuring the seamless execution of these projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the building materials industry, extensive connections with builder groups, and a proven track record of closing large projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Acquisition & Sales:
  • Meet with purchase heads, project managers, and decision-makers withinbuilder groups to present company's products and secure large-scale, high-value projects.
  • Develop customized proposals and presentations to address client needs and project requirements.
  • Close high quantum projects, managing negotiations and ensuring favorable terms for both parties.
  • Relationship Building & Networking:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with builder groups, contractors, developers, and procurement heads to foster continuous business opportunities.
  • Leverage industry connections to identify and create new business opportunities for company within the builder sector.

 

  • Project Management & Coordination:
  • Oversee the progress of the projects from initial contact through delivery and installation, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Coordinate with internal teams(production, logistics, customer service) to ensure seamless execution of large projects.
  • Provide timely updates and status reports to clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring a smooth project flow.
  • Market Insights & Industry Trends:
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands to maintain competitive edge.
  • Understand the unique needs of builder groups and adapt sales strategies accordingly to close deals.
  • Negotiation & Contract Management:
  • Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and timelines with builder groups to secure profitable deals.

 

  • After-Sales Support & Relationship Management:
  • Ensure a high level of client satisfaction post-sale by providing ongoing support, addressing concerns, and ensuring the quality and timely delivery of projects.
  • Establish trust and maintain strong client relationships for future business and referrals.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience:
  • Proven track record of 5+ years in sales, project management, or business development within the building materials industry, specifically with builder groups.
  • Strong experience in closing large-scale projects and dealing with purchase heads, developers, and other decision-makers within builder groups.

 

  • Industry Connections:
  • Established relationships and network within the building and construction industry, particularly with large builder groups, contractors, and developers.
  • Deep understanding of the challenges, requirements, and processes within the builder group sector.

 

  • Skills & Knowledge:
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively pitch products and solutions to high-level clients.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Knowledge of tile products, building materials, and project management processes.
