Job Description:

The Assistant Manager – Finance (Corporate) will support the corporate finance operations by managing financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and day-to-day accounting functions. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with multiple hotel units and corporate stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per company standards.

  • Monitor financial performance across hotel units and highlight variances.

  • Assist in financial forecasting, budgeting, and annual planning processes.

  • Conduct periodic MIS reporting for management review.

Accounting & Audit Support

  • Oversee general ledger management, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.

  • Ensure accuracy in accounts payable, receivables, payroll, and revenue entries.

  • Support statutory, internal, and tax audits by preparing necessary documentation.

Compliance & Controls

  • Ensure adherence to financial policies, standards, and internal controls.

  • Support statutory compliance including GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC filings, etc.

  • Maintain proper documentation and records as per audit and compliance norms.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

  • Monitor day-to-day cash flow and fund requirements.

  • Coordinate with banks regarding transactions, statements, and documentation.

Coordination & Support

  • Liaise with unit finance teams across various hotel locations.

  • Work closely with senior management for financial planning and strategic decisions.

  • Support process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in finance operations.


Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (MBA/CA Inter preferred).

  • 4–7 years of experience in finance, corporate accounting, or similar roles.

  • Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP / SAP / any major accounting software.

  • Good understanding of GST, TDS, financial reporting, and compliance.

  • Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.

  • Proficient in MS Excel and financial modelling.

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
