Job Description:

We are seeking a responsible and knowledgeable Branch Officer to manage branch operations for our stock broking unit at GIFT City (IFSCA). The ideal candidate must have good understanding of capital markets, trading operations, compliance frameworks, and client servicing within a broking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and acquire new clients for trading, investment, and wealth products.
• Lead the process of generating new product ideas and enhancing existing ones based on client needs, market trends, and competitive analysis.
• Meet prospective clients, understand their requirements, and convert leads into active accounts.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve branch targets and increase profitability.

• Build strong relationships with HNI, retail, corporate and NRI clients.
• Promote broking, demat, PMS, research services, and IFSCA products.
• Maintain regular follow-ups with clients to ensure high engagement and retention.
• Handle client queries, trading support, product guidance, and service requests.
• Cross-sell investment products and drive higher wallet share from existing clients.
• Coordinate with trading, risk, back office, and compliance teams for smooth operations.
• Ensure proper documentation, KYC, on boarding, and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor client transactions, margin requirements, and settlements.
• Ensure timely reporting and documentation as per IFSCA/SEBI and exchanges guidelines.
• Provide exceptional client service, resolve queries, and ensure high-quality customer experience.
• Supervise branch staff and ensure operational discipline.
• Maintain branch MIS, daily reports, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance.
• Assist in business development activities by supporting RM/Dealer teams.
• Ensure accurate execution of orders and adherence to risk management protocols
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Management, or related field.
• Experience in stock broking, capital markets, operations, or trading support preferred.
• Understanding of IFSC/SWBI/Exchanges regulations is a strong advantage.
• NISM certifications (Series VIII, Series VII, or any relevant module) preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in trading terminals, back-office systems, and MS Office tools. Experience 3-5 years.
