Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

 

  1. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, transfers, and exit processes for plant employees.
  • Ensure manpower planning, shift management, and staffing are aligned with production requirements.
  • Maintain and update employee records, attendance, and HR systems.

 

  1. Statutory Compliance & Labor Law Management
  • Ensure 100 percent compliance with statutory requirements: PF, ESI, Factories Act, Shops & Establishments, standing orders, and other applicable labor laws.
  • Liaise with government bodies, auditors, and external agencies for inspections and documentation.
  • Maintain statutory registers, returns, and reports as per legal requirements.

 

  1. Employee Relations & Workplace Discipline

 

  • Handle grievance management, conflict resolution, and employee engagement at the plant.
  • Maintain discipline on the shop floor and implement policies consistently.
  • Foster a positive work culture that supports safety, quality, and productivity.

 

  1. Payroll & HRMIS

 

  • Coordinate monthly payroll inputs, leave management, overtime, and shift allowances.
  • Work with finance/payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely salary processing.
  1. Health, Safety & Welfare

 

  • Work closely with EHS and plant management to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Implement welfare measures, canteen management, transport coordination, and other employee services.
  1. HR Strategy & Continuous Improvement

 

  • Support HR policy implementation and standardization across the plant.
  • Drive HR initiatives such as engagement programs, retention strategies, and productivity-linked initiatives.
